He's not a threat inside the arc on offense, he attempts one 2pt fg a game

He's good on both ends of the floor, but for the purposes of this discussion he's not currently at the stage where he can do what makes Oregon so effective.

The reason those guys get open looks, which Hunter and Cone can knock down, is because everyone on the floor is a threat to score from anywhere. When only 1 or 2 of those guys are you don't get the defense into rotations that create an open look.

For example, Bede isn't a threat so you can double off him on Radford/Alleyne/Mutts/Aluma and the weakside defender doesn't have to worry about filling the vacant spot on Bede so they can stay on Cattoor who's waiting for a kick-out. This is why we have to run a ton of screen action to get guys open looks when ideally we'd be more diverse in how we create them, that's why Florida was able to shut us down in the 2nd half by overloading that side. They left Bede wide open for layups and he still couldn't score.

If Cattoor was a larger threat going downhill they couldn't play him that tight on the outside.
